About Michiel van Schooten

Michiel van Schooten specializes in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, management buy-outs/buy-ins and the structuring of a wide range of joint ventures and other cooperative arrangements. He advises in shareholder disputes.

Michiel is the board chairman of the Stichting Musical Awards. He is a board member of the Compagnie theater, De Rode Hoed, Felix Meritis, De Nieuwe Liefde, Willem Meindert de Hoop Stichting and the Remé Art Foundation. Between 2008 and 2011 he was on the executive board of Meritas Law Firms Worldwide.
