About Heleen
Heleen Kleinjan specialises in mergers and take-overs, corporate restructuring and commercial contracts. She advises Dutch and foreign companies which vary from MKB and family businesses to listed multinationals. Heleen has ample experience with providing guidance to companies dealing with retail, entertainment, food and technology.
Heleen is part of the Lexence privacy team. She advises clients in the field of (international) commercial contract law and with a focus on privacy, e-commerce and IT law. Heleen advises companies, among other things, on draughting their privacy policy and making it compliant.
Heleen has been with Lexence since 2011. She completed the postgraduate studies in National and International Contracting at Grotius Academy in 2014 (cum laude). She received her master’s degree in law at Leiden University. Heleen studied History of Art at Leiden University as well and spent one semester at the ‘Institut d’Etudes politiques de Paris’ in France. She did an internship at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Heleen attended the University of Redlands in California during a year as a freshman. Heleen was admitted to the Dutch Bar in 2008.
