About Thijs
Thijs Verstraten specialises in private equity and focuses on corporate law transactions. He advises companies on various corporate law issues relating to mergers, acquisitions and private equity transactions. He acts for national and international companies.
From 2017 to 2019, Thijs was a board member of the Amsterdam Young Bar Association. In 2018, he was appointed chairman. Thijs has been nominated for “Best Young M&A Lawyer” by the M&A Community in 2022.
Thijs has been with Lexence since 2015. He studied Dutch law at Radboud University Nijmegen. During his studies, he spent six months studying in the United States. Thijs was admitted to the Dutch Bar in 2016.
