Merle van den Berg

Merle advises mainly (larger) companies and institutions on a broad range of employment matters, such reorganizations, transfer of undertaking, sickness and complex individual dismissals. Merle also specializes in flexible working relationships and employee representation.

Merle joined Lexence in January 2026. Merle has over eleven years of experience as an employment lawyer of which the last approximately four years as part of the employment and pensions team of Clifford Chance. Merle studied law in Amsterdam and was admitted to the Dutch bar in 2014. Merle regularly publishes articles in Dutch legal magazines.
