About Esther

Esther van der Meulen specialises in dismissal, working conditions and collective bargaining agreement issues. Based on her police background, she also handles integrity issues and transgressive behaviour in the workplace.

Esther has a no-nonsense mentality, is heavily involved with her clients and works result-oriented.

Esther has been a partner at Lexence since 2019. Prior to Lexence, she worked for Van Doorne, Deloitte and the National Police Force. Esther received a master’s degree in civil private law in 2003 and completed both professional training for in-house lawyers (NGB) and for the legal profession. She also received her master’s degree in criminal investigation at the Police Academy. In 2016 she completed the employment law specialisation course at the Grotius Academy. Esther is a member of the Vereniging Arbeidsrecht Advocaten Nederland (Dutch Employment Lawyers Association).

In addition to her work as an attorney, Esther is the chairperson of the Childcare CLA Compliance Committee.
