About Timo

Timo Jansen has extensive experience in preventing and resolving corporate law and contractual disputes, particularly in the areas of acquisitions, shareholder disputes and directors’ liability. He also acts in franchise and fraud cases. His clients are mainly active in the insurance industry, secondment and private equity.

Timo was sworn in as a solicitor in 1998 and has been with Lexence since 2010. He studied Dutch law and law and economics at Utrecht University, followed the specialisation course in corporate litigation at the Grotius Academy and the Business Valuation course at Nyenrode Business University. Timo is a deputy judge at the Arnhem-Leeuwarden Court of Appeal and is regularly called upon by the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal to act as an official in inquiry proceedings.
