About Esther
Esther Brand specialises in commercial leasing law, transactions, procedural law and the real estate related law of obligations. She advises and litigates in relation to new leases, lease terminations, substitution requests, defects and renovations, and in other lease-related matters.
Esther has been with Lexence since 2017, the year in which she received a master’s degree in civil law from Leiden University. During her studies she worked for four years as an assistant court clerk at the Court of Appeal in The Hague. She was admitted to the Dutch Bar in 2018. Esther is a member of the Association of Tenancy Law (VHA) and completed the VHA’s specialist training programme in 2024.
