What we do

Legal assistance

Our lawyers and notaries assist developers, lenders, investors and end users with real estate transactions. We advise clients throughout the process, from the statement of intent to the signing of the contract.

Development and redevelopment

We can assist throughout the process of large-scale urban and suburban restructuring as well as with the development of sustainable spaces. Our vast experience also extends to the development of social real estate and care facilities. And we are well versed in all stages of the development and redevelopment of shopping centres, office complexes, housing projects, hotels, care accommodation, and leisure and entertainment facilities; all of which begins with the strategic acquisition of land.

Construction law

The construction law team advises on and litigates all matters that arise before, during and after construction, from tenders to construction contracts, and from state aid to architectural agreements. During construction, we advise on matters such as time extensions, changes to the scope of the project, offsettable quantities, circumstances that drive up costs, completion, and the duty to warn. After completion, we assist with issues such as hidden defects, design faults, execution faults, changes to the scope of the project, failure to complete on time, loss or damage resulting from construction activities, and insurance disputes (builders’ risk insurance). Sustainability and integrated life-cycle management are recurring focus areas for us as well.


The finance team advises companies on the financial aspects of real estate acquisitions. It also advises real estate fund managers on the impact of the Dutch Financial Supervision Act on their management practices, and is regularly involved in the establishment and structuring of real estate funds for investors in and managers of these funds.
