About Mattias
Mattias Kik specialises in civil procedural law and handles commercial dispute resolution in the broadest sense. He advises and litigates in a wide range of (cross-border) commercial disputes for Dutch and international companies. Mattias also represents clients in disputes regarding fraud and is an experienced specialist in solving issues of IPR and international execution.
Mattias also advises and litigates on complex insolvency and restructuring issues, often with an international component (cross border). In this context, he acts for companies with (financial) difficulties, but also for banks, suppliers and other parties who are dealing with a company with financial difficulties.
Mattias has been with Lexence since 2009. He studied law at Maastricht University and political science at the University college Maastricht. Mattias was admitted to the Dutch Bar in 2009. In 2015 he completed the postgraduate course Grotius Insolvency Law cum laude. Mattias is co-author of Chambers and Partners’ Enforcement of Judgments Guide, published in 2019.
