Lexence adviseerde Waterland bij investering in CodiLime

Lexence heeft Waterland met succes geadviseerd bij de investering in CodiLime, een Pools bedrijf dat IT-oplossingen ontwikkelt voor de telecommunicatie- en netwerkindustrie.

CodiLime werd in 2011 opgericht door IT-studenten gespecialiseerd in algoritmen die topplaatsen hadden behaald in internationale IT-competities. Zij hadden vanaf het begin het idee om de beste Poolse ingenieurs in dienst te nemen. Hierdoor is het bedrijf in staat geweest om met succes complexe projecten op te leveren voor wereldleiders in de sector.

Tomasz Karpinski, investment director bij Waterland in Warschau: “We are impressed by CodiLime’s performance – its specific competences and operational agility, as well the scale of projects conducted for global companies. We want to enable the company and its engineers to develop their know-how and strengthen their customer relationships. At the same time, we intend to support CodiLime in its further development through a buy-and-build strategy in which we will invite companies with complementary competences and strong customer relationships to join the group. Our common ambition is to build an international IT group specializing in the network area”.

CodiLime is het derde Poolse technologiebedrijf in de portefeuille van Waterland en de investering kenmerkt de groeiende activiteit van Waterland op de Poolse markt en de aanhoudende interesse van het fonds in Poolse bedrijven. In voorgaande jaren nam Waterland PGS Software en GetInData over. CodiLime onderscheidt zich door haar doelstelling om een groep op te bouwen gericht op gespecialiseerde diensten voor de netwerksector.
