Lexence advised the shareholders of Coin Meester B.V. on its sale to Kraken (Payward Europe Limited).
Kraken is a San Francisco-based cryptocurrency exchange that offers a variety of services, including buying and selling cryptocurrencies, staking, and margin trading. With this acquisition, Kraken is demonstrating its ambition to expand its market position in Europe. Kraken was founded in 2011 and is an American cryptocurrency investment platform. It was one of the first crypto platforms to be admitted to the Bloomberg Terminal. With this step, Coin Meester’s existing customers will benefit from Kraken’s innovations and investments.
