Lexence successful for Uber drivers
Lexence has been victorious for a group of Uber drivers in landmark litigation before the Amsterdam Court of Appeal.
By judgement of 27 January 2026 the Court sided with the arguments of the Uber drivers, quashed an earlier judgement of the Amsterdam District Court and ruled that the drivers qualify as entrepreneurs and not as employees of Uber.
The Lexence team was led by Judith Schulp and included Lucas Stuurop and Erik Steenis.
