Reny Stark and her Technology & Data team will join Lexence as of 1 January 2026

Lexence is pleased to announce the appointment of Reny Stark as Partner Technology & Data effective 1 January 2026. Together with her team from TeekensKarstens advocaten notarissen, Reny will strengthen Lexence’s offering. This expansion introduces Lexence’s eleventh area of expertise: Technology & Data, focusing on IT law, privacy & AI compliance, and cybersecurity.

Alongside Reny, team members Nicky Willemsen and Alexander van Lunteren will also join Lexence. Their expertise enhances our focus on technology and law, enabling us to deliver broader services. By working closely with other teams within Lexence, we provide clients with an integrated approach: from strategic decisions on technology and data to legally safeguarding complex, innovative projects.

Reny Stark on the move:
“Organisations face complex choices around AI, privacy, cybersecurity and digitalisation. As strategic sparring partners, we help turn these challenges into opportunities, mitigating risks while accelerating innovation. Lexence offers the entrepreneurial environment where we can further develop our expertise and deliver innovative solutions for clients.”

Wendy de Ruiter-Lörx, Managing Partner at Lexence:
“With the arrival of Reny and her team, we strengthen our position at the intersection of technology and law. Their pragmatic approach aligns seamlessly with our vision.”

With the addition of the Technology & Data practice, Lexence responds to the growing need for legal support in digital transformation. This move underscores our ambition to be the leading firm for corporate work.
