Lexence acted as legal counsel to the sellers in the sale of Anago to Banyan Software.
Anago, founded in 1999 and based in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands, specialises in planning issues within the public sector. The company has more than 25 years of experience in developing modular, low-code software solutions that support public organisations in improving their service delivery. Anago’s solutions are used by educational institutions, public healthcare providers and government organisations, including HAN University of Applied Sciences, VGGM and the UWV, among others.
Under the guiding philosophy ‘Go for impact’, Anago contributes to social improvements, such as faster case handling for asylum seekers, better access to preventive youth care and more efficient management of education budgets.
The acquisition by Banyan Software will enable Anago to continue its growth and accelerate international expansion, including in the UK. Day-to-day operations will remain unchanged, with the existing management team retained.
