Lexence advised H2 Equity Partners on its acquisition of P&D Group. In connection with this transaction, MKB Fonds sold its stake. This transaction marks the largest deal ever for MKB Fonds. The acquisition marks an important step in the further growth and development of P&D Group.
With a turnover of more than EUR 60 million and 200 employees, P&D Group is a leading player in the Dutch packaging sector. The company focuses on the sale and distribution of packaging materials, packaging machines and disposable products, among other things. Since its inception, P&D Group has experienced impressive growth, partly thanks to an active and successful buy-and-build strategy. The company has acquired various businesses in the packaging industry, including Hodi Verpakkingsmaterialen, Pacoma Europe, Van Vliet Trading, Uniek Verpakkingen and Laro Tape.
