Lexence and the Royal Dutch Rowing Union join forces for talent development
Lexence will support the development of future rowing champions over the next three years. From January 2026, the firm will partner the Royal Dutch Rowing Union (KNRB), committing itself to the Talent Development Programme for young top rowers.
With this collaboration, Lexence supports the next generation of top athletes on their way to top level. In addition, the collaboration offers room for inspiring activities for Lexence employees and clients, such as rowing clinics, vitality sessions and guest presentations. The collaboration fits in with what Lexence considers important: investing in development, staying in motion and getting the best out of people.
“The mental strength and dedication required to row at top level appeal to us enormously,” says Wendy de Ruiter-Lörx, managing partner of Lexence. “The KNRB’s Talent Development Programme is in line with what we think is important: sustainable growth, focus and encouraging talent. We look forward to contributing as a partner to the further development of talent, within and outside the sport, in the coming years.”
Lexence is an Amsterdam-based law and notarial firm that supports companies with legal and business issues. The firm invests in expertise, development and a healthy working environment. The partnership with the KNRB is in line with that vision: a focus on growth, energy and encouraging talent, both internally and externally.
For the KNRB, Lexence’s support is of great value: “To structurally guide talents to the top, long-term and committed support is essential. Lexence shares our vision on development and performance, and together we can prepare our athletes even better for their future – both inside and outside sport,” says Nicolien Nicolai, general director of the KNRB.
