Tomas Steenmetser

Tomas Steenmetser is experienced in leasing law regarding business premises. Together with his team, he mainly assists landlords. His clients are primarily institutional investors and family offices. Tomas is also a trusted advisor of IVBN, the association of institutional property investors in the Netherlands. Tomas handles cases in the field of purchase law and the general law of obligation relating to property. He is also well versed in bankruptcy law related issues.

Tomas has fulfilled various board positions, including member of the executive board of Lexence and secretary of the Vereniging van Huurrecht Advocaten (Leasing Lawyers Association). He is the author of various handbooks and he publishes regularly. In addition, he lectures at OSR and the Universiteit van Amsterdam (the Eggens Institute). Tomas regularly gives lectures and courses in house.

Tomas has been with Lexence since 2001. He studied Dutch Law at the Rijksuniversiteit Leiden. Tomas was admitted to the Dutch Bar in 1991.
