December 30, 2020 – The investment fund Sofindev buys a majority stake in Altebra, one of the largest Belgian and Dutch players in fire protection and detection. Altebra specializes in sprinkler and foam extinguishing systems, as well as in fire and gas detection. The East Flemish company has a turnover of 53 million euros. Altebra is the fourth acquisition of the Sofindev V fund, which was founded a year ago with 170 million euros in capital.
