The Construction Law team provides advice and institutes legal proceedings on issues that arise prior to, during and after the construction process. These include the requirement to make a call for bids, all aspects of government support and disputes about candidate selection and awarding bids. Thus, the team’s activities include drawing up waivers, various types of contracts for contractors, architects and suppliers. Advisory activities provided during construction include construction period extensions, variations in workload and building materials, chargeable items, circumstances leading to additional costs, delivery, issues, obligations to give warnings etc. Issues that arise after delivery include disputes about hidden defects, design defects, construction faults , variations in workload, exceeding construction period deadlines, damages caused by construction activities and disputes relating to insurance including CAR insurance policies.
