LITIGATION
Lexence's litigation team is specialised in corporate and commercial litigation as well as arbitration. The corporate litigators commonly deal with conflicts regarding corporate governance issues (including shareholder disputes), officer's liability and claims arising from M&A transactions. The commercial litigators handle complex disputes regarding various types of contracts or torts. The disputes that are handled often concern the termination of agency-, franchise- and distribution agreements, and the sale/purchase or development of real estate. To safeguard the clients' interests and recourse opportunities, the litigation team utilizes its experience with attachments and other legal instruments. Team members are also experienced in litigating in insolvency situations, for example against trustees in bankruptcy.
