Of course there are the compulsory professional courses arranged by the Netherlands Bar Association (Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten) and the Dutch Koninklijke Notariële Beroepsorganisatie (royal association of notaries). In addition, Lexence allows you to take other courses so that your knowledge is always up to date. Typical examples are the Grotius training programmes or the various courses and training programmes provided by Lexence in-house. Lexence has two custom training programmes for legal professionals. The Talent Vaardigheden Programma (talent skills programme) focuses on giving you the skills you need to be an effective lawyer or notary. Some examples are giving presentations, legal English and commercial skills. Each year, the skills relevant for that particular level of experience will be dealt with. A special programme has been developed for associates that have become salary partners, helping them in this new phase in their career.
