Lexence assisted Waterland Private Equity (Waterland) in its investment in Quinity.

Ralf Timmer, CEO of Quinity: “With Waterland’s experience in internationalization, its network and its financial clout, we plan to quickly gain a position in the European market. In addition, Quinity is able to access valuable knowledge in life insurance domains by working with Actuera – also a Waterland participation”.

“We believe in Quinity’s potential because of its excellent software platform, high level of customer satisfaction, and its strong implementation track record. We look forward to supporting Quinity’s management in its ambitions to become a leading European player,” said Rob Thielen, chairman of Waterland.

Two of the founders and directors will continue to lead the company: Ralf Timmer as CEO and Jan van Reenen as CTO. Patrick van Driel will leave Quinity. Robert Guitink will remain involved in the development of QIS for the time being.
