Holland Venture invests in Virtual Affairs

The venture capital company Holland Venture has invested in Virtual Affairs, the supplier of digital solutions for the financial sector. Virtual Affairs hopes to grow internationally with this investment. In addition, members of the management team and some of the more specialized employees in the company received initial or additional allocations of shares in Virtual Affairs.
 
Virtual Affairs designs and operates the digital channels of banks and insurers, such as Aegon, Knab, Nationale Nederlanden, Syntrus Achmea, Rabobank, and ABN Amro.
The company is now aiming for an international rollout of the products it makes for these customers. “We serve a large number of customers in the Netherlands, and there is also international demand for our expertise and solutions”, says Sijbrand Tieleman, CEO of Virtual Affairs.
 
Virtual Affairs was established in 1997. At the moment, it employs 130 staff at its offices in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Sofia.
