Dutch Greentech Fund and Mainport Innovation Fund invest in Ampyx

Lexence assisted the private equity investors Dutch Greentech Fund and Mainport Innovation Fund in the investment in Ampyx Power, an innovative technology company working in airborne wind energy. Ampyx has developed the PowerPlane®, a machine that transforms wind energy into electricity for a cost price that can compete with alternatives such as fossil fuel.

Dutch Greentech Fund is an investment fund set up by Rabobank, TU Delft, Wageningen UR and the World Wildlife Fund. DGF invests in promising Dutch techno start-ups with innovative technologies or processes that can make the chain from raw material to end product more sustainable. Mainport Innovation Fund B.V. is a techno start-up investment fund created by Rabobank, Schiphol, TU Delft, and KLM. The fund invests in promising Dutch techno start-ups with innovative technologies, products, and/or services that substantially contribute to the increasing sustainability of aviation or the aviation industry.
