Dura Vermeer Vastgoed sells future office of Stibbe

Dura Vermeer Vastgoed and Union Investment Real Estate GmbH reached an agreement on the sale of the future office of the Stibbe law firm in Amsterdam. The office is being developed in the Beatrixpark in the Amsterdamse Zuidas, the pre-eminent business district of the Netherlands. The transaction relates to about 13,000 m2 of office space and 60 parking places.
Stibbe concluded a 15-year lease contract for the building that will be certified ‘Excellent’ by Breeam-NL when it is completed in 2016. Jo Coenen Architects & Urbanists is responsible for the building’s architecture, together with Dura Vermeer. Dura Vermeer is also involved in the development of the adjacent headquarters of Akzo Nobel. Both the Stibbe office and the headquarters of Akzo Nobel are being developed by Dura Vermeer.
Union Investment Real Estate GmbH is one of the biggest real estate fund managers in Europe. As one of the largest players in the sector, the organization now has a portfolio worth around €23.8 billion. Union Investment was advised by Savills, CVO Group, Loyens & Loeff, and PwC.
During the sale process, CBRE, Lexence Advocaten en Notarissen, and KPMG Meijburg advised Dura Vermeer Vastgoed, a developer in construction, infrastructure, engineering, and service provision.
