Regular clients include prominent media companies, financial institutions and ICT companies. The team also frequently represents industrial parties, including a leading steel manufacturer and various offshore and installation companies. Since the end of 2012 Bram Thomas has performed pro bono work for the Voedselbank Amsterdam as well. The nature of the practice is very diverse, and includes (cross-border) trade disputes, conflicts involving software implementation, failed joint ventures and the termination of continuing performance contracts. Bram Thomas also has extensive experience with fraud cases and claims related to other types of illegal activities.
Bram Thomas was sworn in as a lawyer in 1999, and has specialized in civil procedural law ever since. Before joining Lexence in 2005, Bram Thomas worked as a lawyer at Allen & Overy. Prior to his career as a lawyer, he studied at the University of Amsterdam and at the New York University School of Law.
